As a quasi-judicial body, the Zoning Board of Appeals does not allow “privilege of the floor” at its meetings. Should anyone wish to comment on the appeals scheduled for a public hearing , they may do so during the public hearings. No public comment will be allowed outside the public hearings themselves.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 @ 6:30 PM in person at Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York, on the following matter:
PUBLIC HEARING: Public hearing of appeals made by Fred DelFavero, regarding 228 Cayuga Dr., Tax Parcel Number 11.-1-3.211. The applicant is appealing the Code Enforcement Officer’s (CEO) written zoning interpretation dated October 22, 2025, that the proposed high-performance computing (“HPC”) research facility is not a permitted principal use in the IR District. The Applicants appeal that determination and seek a finding that the proposed use is properly classified as a “Scientific Research Laboratory”, a permitted principal use within the IR District under the Town of Lansing Zoning Code.
PUBLIC HEARING: Public hearing of appeals made by Fred DelFavero, regarding 228 Cayuga Dr., Tax Parcel Number 11.-1-3.211. The applicant is appealing the Code Enforcement Officer’s (CEO) written zoning interpretation dated November 10, 2025, that the proposed high-performance computing (“HPC”) research facility is not a permitted principal use in the IR District. The Applicants appeal that determination and seek a finding that the proposed use is properly classified as a “General Processing" and/or "Warehouse / Storage of non-agricultural goods”, each a permitted principal use within the IR District under the Town of Lansing Zoning Code.
