Notice of Permissive Referendum - Execution of License Agreement for Scoops at 104 Auburn Road

NOTICE OF PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM: The Lansing Town Board adopted a resolution dated March 18, 2026 authorizing the execution of a license agreement for the use and occupancy of a portion of town lands at 104 Auburn Road (TPN 31.-1-18), for the operation of the “Scoops” ice cream stand. Said license runs from April 21st through December 31, 2026 for a monthly license fee of $650 per month (April through September) and $350 (for October through December). Such resolution is subject to permissive referendum under Town Law § 64 and Town Law Article 7. Said resolution will become effective unless a petition signed by the required number of qualified electors of the Town of Lansing is received on or before April 17, 2026 protesting such resolution and requesting a referendum thereupon.
