Sealed Bids for the construction of the above-named project will be received by the Office of Town Clerk at the Lansing Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York 14882, until 10:00 AM local time Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Consolidated Water District Water Main Replacement Brickyard Road and Buck Road”

In general, the base project consists of the following: Furnish and installing approximately 1,300 lineal feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, water services, appurtenances, and restoration. An add alternate includes 425 lineal feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, water services, appurtenances, and restoration. 

The Bidding Documents may be inspected at the office of the Engineer (Issuing Office). An electronic copy, in pdf format, of said documents must be obtained only from the Issuing Office by contacting David A. Herrick, P.E. via email at dah@tgmillerpc.com. Include in the email subject line the following: REQUEST FOR BIDDING DOCUMENTS- Consolidated Water District Water Main Replacement Project. Bidders must provide their full business name, delivery address, phone number, contact name and FedEx account number for express delivery of the Bidding Documents.

A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. 

Amendments can only be accomplished by means of Addenda issued by the Engineer. Written questions must be addressed and submitted via email to David Herrick, P.E. Questions must be received by 5:00 PM on March 5, 2026. Questions received after the deadline will not be answered.

All Bids must be made on the official Bid Form and be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond, payable to the Town of Lansing, in the amount equal to 5% of the Base Bid. All such bid securities will be returned no later than the forty-sixth day after the Bid opening.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Town.
